Favorite Airport

Airports represent both the first and last experience that travelers have in Japan. Consequently, they are vital to the overall travel experience

We surveyed 1,043 Tokyo Cheapo readers between January 9th and 16th and Haneda Airport came out on top with 49% of all votes cast. Coming in second was Narita with 33%, giving the two Tokyo gateways 82% of the votes.

Although a less used entry point than Narita, Haneda's modern facilities and convenint proximity to central Tokyo made it a clear winner
